Bayscape partners with Ardmore Group
Bayscape Ltd is delighted to announce they have entered into an agreement to secure a fixed price building contract with Ardmore Construction Limited for the construction of their mixed use development in Cardiff Bay.
This agreement marks a significant milestone for the Bayscape project establishing a full understanding of all technical and costing elements for the completion of the scheme. Ardmore has a strong track record in delivering a variety of high-rise residential, commercial and mixed use schemes to a first class standard. A current project being undertaken by Ardmore is the hugely anticipated London Corinthia Hotel set to open in 2011.
Following detailed discussions, Ardmore were awarded the contract based on their strong portfolio of completed projects and their dynamic approach of offering many skills in-house, giving the directors of Bayscape confidence in their ability to deliver the project on time and to budget.

Following this partnership with Ardmore and the announcement in March of the 25 year hotel agreement with Wyndham Hotels the start date for construction is expected in early 2011 with an information centre to open at the site adjacent to Cardiff Marina in the autumn of 2010.
Bayscape will see the creation of a mixed use site overlooking Cardiff Marina to include; a 32 storey, 200 room Wyndham hotel; 35 serviced apartments; 103 exclusive residences and 10 retail outlets. The project is being managed by Day and Johnson and the architects are Harper Downie.
In addition, it was announced on 10th September that Cardiff Marine Group have been shortlisted for the Estates Gazette Awards, Leisure property company of the year. The submission includes their work on the development of the marina and Cardiff Marine Village together with Bayscape.
